So often when I go to estate sales and troll through online auctions I find pictures like this. They have generally fallen into the hands of the seller through the passing of an elder relative with no children who has passed away. Such a sad thing.
A lucky day is when there are names on the back and I get an opportunity to try to piece together the family. Sometimes, like in this case, there are living relatives who may appreciate them…so, I try to make contact and offer them up, after documenting a starter family tree on Ancestry.com.
We shall see if the daughter wants them…
