Midway Church was a central point in the bustling town of Midway around the time of the Revolutionary War. It was founded by congregants from Dorchester Massachusets who came to Georgia for religious freedom and a new place to grow their cotton. Today the cemetery remains, but guess what...it is closed on Mondays. Imagine that.
